St. Paul’s Manor

Linda Spencer will present St. Paul’s Manor, a premier San Diego independent living community in on 2nd Avenue in Bankers Hill.

Retirement living at St. Paul’s Manor can be leisurely or active. Whether it’s getting together for a few laughs on a friend’s private balcony, attending exercise class, walking through nearby Balboa Park, or taking a trip to the store on St. Paul’s bus, our retirement community makes it easy to enjoy life at whatever pace you prefer.

Parking in Bankers Hill
Uptown Parking Advisory Board

Frustrated about parking in our neighborhood? Then join in the conversation with Chris DeMoville, the Bankers Hill Project Manager for the Uptown Parking Advisory Board. He will present the status of several parking related projects in our area: Residential Parking Permits, Four hour parking meters and more. He will also introduce Gerrie Trussell, the new Executive Director of the Uptown Parking Advisory Board.

What is Happening with the Truax Property?

Nakhshab Development & Design will provide the community with an update on their project at the corner of Union and Laurel (2513-15 Union St. and 540 W. Laurel St.), which is where the Dr. Brad Truax house is located. As the Planning Commission recently approved a lot split into three parcels, Nakhshab will explain what this means for the project as well as upcoming steps.

How does the Pride Festival Benefit our Group?

It is a Win-Win for the Bankers Hill Community Group. We volunteer to clean the neighborhood during the Festival and they pay us $10.00 for every hour worked.

Bring a friend, walk the neighborhood picking up trash for at least two hours during Saturday, July 15th through Monday July 17th. Choose your own days and time. It is on the honor-system. Plus you each receive a Bankers Hill T-Shirt! In the end, Bankers Hill looks great and the Pride group pays us up to $1,500.00

It is our only fund raiser. Your help is really appreciated.

Learn more at our next meeting on the 19th or sign up now on our website and pick up your t-shirt at the meeting

A volunteer group (with no funding or dues) established in 2011 to share community information and give residents and business owners a voice in neighborhood decisions.
